I recently wrote a post criticising the ubiquitous word ‘offensive.’ I quoted Stephen Fry who said that claiming to be ‘offended’ was merely a whine that gave no special privileges. I expanded on my thoughts with a second post attacking the entirely victimless crime of ‘blasphemy.’
Now watch the video below. This could well be described as ‘offensive’ and I’m sure if Seth MacFarlane of Family Guy had replaced the Jesus character with a different religious figure then he could have found himself in hot water.
