Southampton University has changed a bit since I was there (in the 70s). Then such insane pronouncements would have been laughed at for the obviously wrong statements. Also, most male students – we weren’t all sexist twats – would have considered female students at risk if “bathrooms” were shared.
Nice noticeboard though.
