Thought Of The Day

This is a thread I have created for thoughts that don’t merit an entire post. Feel free to add your own thoughts in the comment section.

Thought of the Day #62 (15/05/22): Some people will spend their entire lives feeling like a victim and playing the victim card, not realising they were the ones oppressing themselves the entire time.

Thought of the Day #61 (02/05/22): The political/media class are obsessing over cakes, beers, Angela Rayner’s legs and sexy tractors because they can’t deal with the state of the problems in the country. Like a person paralysed by their to do list at work changing the font on their email signature.

Thought of the Day #60 (10/04/22): That this has become the defining political issue of our times is bizarre…

Thought of the Day #59 (16/03/22): I laughed on the way to work yesterday when I heard on the news that Facebook are increasing their number of fact checkers before the upcoming federal election. If Zuckerberg and his minions told me the sky was blue I’d have to look up.

Thought of the Day #58 (06/03/22): I thought sanctions were supposed to punish the Russians but they’re the ones who have ended up with no Facebook, Twitter or BBC.

Thought of the Day #57 (04/03/22): The usual suspects are on Twitter moaning about Gavin Williamson getting a knighthood. I would have thought Williamson – a man twice sacked from the government for corruption and/or incompetence – would be a perfect recipient of one of the tawdry baubles of the Establishment. See The Mark of Cain.

Thought of the Day #56 (24/02/22): The same people who have affected to be experts in virology and mathematical modelling for the past two years are now experts in Ukrainian history and geography.

My spellchecker doesn’t recognise the word ‘Holodomor.’

Thought of the Day #55 (09/02/22): I’m surprised someone hasn’t called the Winter Olympics ‘racist’ or ‘white supremacist’…

Thought of the Day #54 (06/02/22): From today’s Sunday Times…

Thought of the Day #53 (01/02/22): I wonder if the Wokies are aware of this Neil Young quote from the height of the AIDS panic in 1985 – “You go to a supermarket and you see a faggot behind the fucking cash register, you don’t want him to handle your potatoes.”

Offence archaeology works both ways.

Thought of the Day #52 (23/01/22): I came across an excellent phrase today, ‘purity spiral.’ Defined on Urban Dictionary as ‘a social ratchet effect within a community. A process of moral outbidding, unchecked, which corrodes the group from within, rewarding those who put themselves at the extremes and punishing nuance relentlessly.’

For example, Louise denounced Nike as racist. The village then fell into a purity spiral where first Nikes, then all trainers, then all shoes and later socks were burned on a bonfire. Foot amputations followed in the Spring.

Tell me that isn’t a perfect description of the BBC, the Guardian, Twitter, etc, etc. See also The Woke Commandments Update.

Thought of the Day #51 (10/01/22): You don’t get much for 300million quid these days. His face says it all…

Thought of the Day #50 (04/01/22): Lots of fuss over Establishment shill being given an ‘honour’ by other Establishment shills…

Thought of the Day #49 (01/01/22): Class is more important than race. Read Bad News – How Woke Media is Undermining Democracy by Batya Ungar-Sargon.

Thought of the Day #48 (24/12/21): Depressing…

Thought of the Day #47 (22/12/21): I bet you $1000 to a lump of dogshit that the CEO of this supermarket will not be at his desk at 9am on Boxing Day…

Thought of the Day #46 (16/12/21): Footage of me after getting up early to watch Ipswich lose to Barrow in the FA Cup …

Thought of the Day #45 (12/12/21): “Hey Siri. What is the definition of nobhead?”

Thought of the Day #44 (01/12/21): If the best answer is ‘Yvette Cooper and David Lammy’ then you have to wonder what on Earth the question was.

Thought of the Day #43 (13/11/21): Apparently that dullard Harry Windsor thinks the media are being sexist when they refer to ‘Megxit.’ Personally, I would dislike his missus whatever her sex.

Thought of the Day #42 (25/10/21): There’s an old episode of Friends where Joey phones the police about a stolen ring and they tell him they’ll look into it once they’ve solved all the murders. I thought of that scene when I read this…

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/59025887

Thought of the Day #41 (16/10/21): Great tweet by Ricky Gervais…

Thought of the Day #40 (15/10/21): Heard one of the founders of the LGB Alliance in an online debate today – “I’m not a biologist but I know that one of the key differences between the sexes are large gametes and small gametes. There are no medium-sized gametes.”

That made me laugh. Exposes the idiocy of gender ideology in six words.

Thought of the Day #39 (04/10/21): The new Bernard Cornwell book – the first Sharpe novel since 2006 – is excellent. I thoroughly recommend it – read an extract here.

Thought of the Day #38 (28/09/21): Being called ‘scum’ by Angela Rayner is like being called attention-seeking by Kim Kardashian, racist by Sasha Johnson or talentless by Victoria Beckham.

Thought of the Day #37 (17/08/21): The Oval Office has essentially been empty since Bill Clinton ended his second term in January 2001. Since then the White House has been occupied by the village idiot, a man who talked a good game but did the square root of fuck all, a deeply unpleasant and narcissistic reality tv ‘star’ and a senile incompetent.

Is that the sound of Thomas Jefferson spinning in his grave I can hear?

Thought of the Day #36 (14/08/21): Ayaan Hirsi Ali really should be a poster girl for the modern identity ‘left.’ Somali-born (ie: a ‘person of colour’), subjected to the brutally misogynistic practices of female genital mutilation and forced marriage, asylum seeker, fierce advocate for women’s rights. I wonder why she is so hated?

You should read her new book Prey.

Thought of the Day #35 (25/07/21): An interesting graphic from today’s Sunday Times

Thought of the Day #34 (24/07/21): Being called a liar by Alastair Campbell is like being criticised about your attitude to the elderly by Harold Shipman.

Thought of the Day #33 (18/07/21): This made me laugh…

Thought of the Day #32 (26/06/21): You don’t have to be a mad right-wing foamer to believe the ruling class are taking the piss at the moment…

Thought of the Day #31 (15/06/21): Breaking News – 43 people missing after first Flat Earth surfing championship…

Thought of the Day #30 (06/06/21): From today’s Sunday Times comparing Henry VIII to Boris Johnson – “…there are clear Henrician echoes in Boris Johnson, a priapic mountebank whose chaotic sex life impinges on his running of the country.”

Thought of the Day #29 (28/05/21): The women’s 10 metres world record is 10.49 seconds. The 6,199th best men’s time is 10.49 seconds (see here). See also Thought #23.

Thought of the Day #28 (23/05/21): Read Niall Ferguson’s new book Doom: The Politics of Catastrophe. A “natural misanthrope,” Ferguson argues that all ‘natural’ disasters, from floods and volcanos to global pandemics, are created by humans – “all disasters are at some level man-made political disasters, even if they originate with new pathogens.” It is our response to disasters not the disasters themselves that is important.

Thought of the Day #27 (19/05/21): I wonder how many of the people sneering at new DUP leader Edwin Poots’ mad Young Earth Creationist views believe that a man can become a woman by signing a piece of paper?

Thought of the Day #26 (28/04/21): Sociology is to history what theology is to science.

Thought of the Day #25 (13/04/21): If I, a white person, punched myself in the face, would that be racial justice or would I be guilty of blackface and/or cultural appropriation for giving myself a black eye?

Thought of the Day #24 (10/04/21): I have an idea for a new reality television show – ‘Celebrity Flamethrower.’ It involves me turning up at the house of a vacuous, famous-for-being-famous dullard and burning it down. Russell Brand or Victoria Beckham could be featured in the first show. Markle and Windsor would be first choice for the international edition.

Thought of the Day #23 (26/03/21): If you put red can Coca Cola into a Diet Coke can, would it become Diet Coke?

Anyone who answered ‘no’ is a vicious transphobe.

Thought of the Day #22 (21/03/21): All these idiots banging on about Winston Churchill being a ‘racist.’ They’ll have a nervous breakdown when they hear about the other bloke.

Thought of the Day #21 (17/03/21): One for the mathematicians here…

(Arrogance + Ignorance)^Stupidity = ‘Woke’

Thought of the Day #20 (13/03/21):Nish Kumar is to comedy what Giant Haystacks was to ballet dancing.

Thought of the Day #19 (03/03/21): I am not surprised that Angela Rayner – the Vicky Pollard of British politics – has never heard of Benjamin Disraeli. Or even Michael Howard. But she really ought to have heard of Ed Miliband considering he was Labour leader when she was first elected to parliament (see here).

The Savilites hosted a ‘discussion’ about whether Jews were an ethnic minority, with one Jewish person and four non-Jews. If any other favoured group was involved, the identity racists would go nuts.

Thought of the Day #18 (26/02/21): Are computers transphobic? After all, they work on binary logic.

If you think that’s nuts, look at this.

Thought of the Day #17 (21/02/21): Apparently, Iranian ‘cleric’ Ayatollah Abbas Tabrizian thinks the Covid vaccine turns you gay. Makes a difference from nutters going on about Bill Gates and nanobots I suppose.

When even your co-religionists think you’re a loony, it’s time to take a long look in the mirror (see here).

Thought of the Day #16 (16/02/21): It was all worth it! Look what I’ve got…

Thought of the Day #15 (15/02/21): If the worst thing that has happened to you today is that someone used the ‘wrong’ pronouns then you have had a very good day.

Thought of the Day #14 (12/02/21): I refuse to be lectured to about science by people who think photosynthesis is an Instagram filter.

Thought of the Day #13 (09/02/21): Read David Baddiel’s new book Jews Don’t Count.

Thought of the Day #12 (05/02/21): Umair Haque is a racist. No ifs or buts…

I wonder what the Twitter Stasi would have done if the word ‘white’ in this Tweet was replaced with ‘black’ or (gasp) ‘Muslim’?

Thought of the Day #11 (03/02/21): Why do all religious fanatics like to vandalise the human body? Jews and circumcision, Muslims and female genital mutilation, transgender zealots and, well, everything.

Thought of the Day #10 (30/01/21): Why has Sandi Toksvig been on the telly for nearly forty years despite having no discernible talent?

Thought of the Day #9 (27/01/21): On Holocaust Memorial Day it is worth pointing out that if you had a minute’s silence for every victim of the Shoah, you would be quiet for more than eleven years.

Thought of the Day #8 (25/01/21): Joe Biden can decorate his own office any way he chooses.

As an English person living in Australia, I have busts of a Corsican/Frenchman and a Macedonian who ended up living like a Persian. I imagine both were made in China.

Thought of the Day #7 (24/01/21): The fawning over Joe Biden by mega-rich ‘celebrities’ this last few days has been embarrassing. These people live lives of such cosseted and closeted privilege that it wouldn’t matter to them if Idi Amin was president.

Advocating defunding the police and open borders whilst living in a walled compound with armed 24-hour security may be a tad hypocritical.

Thought of the Day #6 (21/01/21): Why do the voices certain people hear in their heads – particularly the voices heard by religious nutters – always tell them to kill other people? Why can’t tell tell them to pick up litter or help old folks with the shopping?

Thought of the Day #5 (19/01/21): Only a sociologist could come up with a concept as ridiculous as “multiracial whiteness.” Sociology is to History what Theology is to Science.

If the only way you can defend your ideas is to attack the race of your critics, then your ideas are not very good. And you are probably a racist.

Thought of the Day #4 (17/01/21): My riots are political protests. Your political protests are riots.

Thought of the Day #3 (15/01/21): The SNP – nationalism and socialism. Always a winning combination.

To use a cliché, even a stopped clock is right twice a day. Seems Boris Johnson is winding up Ian ‘ people of Scotland’ Blackford by referring to the Scottish Nazi party as the Scottish Nationalist Party. Blackford is that red in the face, he needs to increase the dosage in his heart medication. If you have Twitter, try the hashtag #ScottishNationalistParty for a good laugh.

The Scottish National Party in good company with the British National Party, the French National Rally and the National Socialist German Workers’ Party.

Thought of the Day #2 (13/01/21): There is more to life than the fear of death.

Thought of the Day #1 (12/01/21): Don’t dish it out if you can’t take it.

This is in response to the Markle person and her lapdog ‘quitting’ social media because of the “almost unsurvivable” “hate” they have “suffered” online. This from a person who uses private jets whilst lecturing the plebs about climate change and who moans about ‘racism’ whilst using the racist phrase ‘white privilege.’ Ho hum. See here if your blood pressure can take it.

  1. Great idea. My contribution would be in recognition of transgenders to open a special woman’s prison for women with penises. Our lunatic rulers have no common sense.
